A man was shot dead on Wednesday shortly after 7 pm in the Soleil neighbourhood of Saint-Étienne.
According to our information, the victim was alone in their car at the time of the incident.
Following the gunshots, police officers arrived on the scene, accompanied by the fire brigade. The person was pronounced dead on their arrival.
The case has been referred to the criminal investigation department.
