The fire brigade was called out at around 3 pm to a fire in a garage shed at 2 Rue de Douaumont, in the Barrière de Paris area of Toulouse. At the scene, two firefighters were caught unawares by the explosion of a gas cylinder inside the building.
They sustained minor injuries, according to SDIS 31. The fire was quickly brought under control. There were no other casualties.
It was the owner of the house who raised the alarm.
Around twenty firefighters were deployed to the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
