A fire broke out on Tuesday on the top floor of a block of flats on Rue Joséphine in Évreux (27), Normandy.
According to our information, there have been seven fatalities, including three firefighters.
Several people were evacuated using the aerial ladder operated by the Évreux fire brigade.
The operation involved around forty firefighters from the main fire stations in Évreux and Louviers–Val-de-Reuil, as well as those in Conches-en-Ouche, Ézy-sur-Eure, St-André-de-l'Eure and Pacy-sur-Eure.
