The New York Fire Department (FDNY) has announced that a helicopter has crashed into a building in the famous Manhattan district, home to numerous skyscrapers.
A large number of emergency services are currently at the scene.
Firefighters quickly located and put out the fire that broke out at the time of the collision.
One victim has died.
Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, thanked the emergency services, who arrived in large numbers within 10 minutes of the alert being raised.
