A pine forest fire is currently raging in the commune of Montagnac in the Hérault department, at a place known as Chamfret. Around sixty firefighters from the department are tackling the blaze. Aerial support is also expected to arrive in the area within the next few minutes.
Nearly 5 hectares have already been burnt and several dozen more are at risk.
