According to our colleagues at L’Union, a 22-year-old volunteer firefighter from Cottez-sur-Aisne (Aisne) was due to take part in a drill on Saturday morning.
Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to our editorial team, he fell from a height of 5 metres.
According to initial examinations carried out at the scene, the young man had suffered a broken wrist and various bruises on the side of his body where he landed. He was airlifted to Soissons Hospital.
