On 15 April, the Paris Fire Brigade saved Notre-Dame and, with it, a little of our memory and our history. “A part of the soul of France,” added Christophe Castaner, the Minister of the Interior.
At the Champerret barracks, alongside Florence Parly, the Minister for the Armed Forces, the flag of the Paris Fire Brigade was decorated.
Today, the BSPP becomes the first unit to wear the gold fourragère on its flag and arm in recognition of acts of courage and dedication. This is in tribute to their sense of duty and their heroic deeds.
