At lunchtime today, the Paris Fire Brigade were called out to a flat fire in Nanterre (92).
On arrival, they found that the fire had broken out in a 70m² flat on the 8th floor. The flames were spreading rapidly along the outside of the building and had affected three floors.
Firefighters urgently evacuated three people via the stairwell. It took two hours to bring the fire under control using two fire hoses. The final toll was two people with minor injuries, including one firefighter.
