A fire has been reported on the A57 motorway near the Sigues service area in the municipality of Gonfaron in the Var department.

18:22 – The 12 forest fire-fighting vehicles, supported by two water-bombing helicopters and one civil protection aircraft, have managed to contain the fire, which has burnt 5,000 square metres of vegetation. Reinforcements are expected in the area to complete the fire-extinguishing operation.
