A wildfire has been reported at the hamlet of Les Campanelles in the commune of Fabrègues, in the Hérault department.
A shed was destroyed by fire and a housing estate was put at risk.
Three GIFFs and two Air Tractor light water bombers are on site.
19:08 – 80 firefighters from the SDIS (34), including 4 GIFF personnel, have been deployed. 10 hectares have been burnt; the fire has been brought under control.
19:55 – Two Canadair aircraft expected in the area; three LPG sheds destroyed.
A firefighter suffering from heatstroke is being treated by a doctor.
Between 10 and 15 hectares were burnt.
