A major forest fire has broken out in the commune of Lanas in the Ardèche. Numerous resources have been deployed to tackle the blaze, which is spreading rapidly.
The fire has been extinguished; 170 hectares have been burnt.
Update 2.30 pm: The four Canadair aircraft are carrying out their first water drops.
Update 14:15: Four Canadair aircraft from Nîmes are being deployed to tackle the fire.
Update 14:05: Around 50 firefighters, a command post and two Trackers are currently tackling the fire.
