This Monday, much of the Mediterranean region is at ‘very severe’ risk of forest fires. The drought, combined with the heat and wind, is significantly increasing the risk.
Six departments are affected, including the Pyrénées-Orientales, the Aude, the Hérault, the Gard, the Vaucluse and the Bouches-du-Rhône. We advise you to exercise extreme caution.
If you see a fire breaking out, contact the fire brigade on 18 or 112 and leave the area.
