Whilst firefighters from SDIS 34 were kept extremely busy on Thursday dealing with numerous wildfires, a light vehicle was trapped by the flames and completely destroyed.
Fortunately, the two occupants, who were responding to a fire in the Gardiole massif in the commune of Fabrègues (Hérault), managed to escape without difficulty. No one was injured. The vehicle was a Dacia Duster, used for reconnaissance, command and liaison missions.
