A fire has been reported in the commune of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, in the Domaine des Baux area of the Var department.

2.31 pm: The emergency services have managed to contain the fire to an area of around 3 hectares and have protected the surrounding houses
▪After 9 sorties and water drops by 2 Canadair aircraft (Pélicans), totalling over 108,000 litres of water
▪Several dozen (around a hundred) water drops carried out by two HBE (Écureuil helicopters), totalling more than 40,000 litres of water
▪In addition to ground-based resources, around 80 firefighters and some 20 vehicles
13:48: The fire has spread across 3 hectares; aerial resources have been working hard to reduce the intensity of the fire
13:12: 1 hectare of vegetation burnt; command centre activated. Access is difficult for the emergency services; the operation is expected to take a long time
