EMERGENCY INFORMATION. In the midst of a heatwave, firefighters across France are being called out to numerous wildfires, even in areas not usually affected by this type of incident.
On Thursday, a firefighter in his thirties, based at the Creil fire station in the Oise department, suffered severe burns to his face. He is currently in hospital in Beauvais. According to our information, confirmed by an officer, two fire engines were seriously damaged by the flames.
