A fire has been reported in the Lande de Millet area of the town of Salles in the Gironde department.
This Sunday, 4 August, a violent flare-up was reported; a large number of additional resources were called in to support the firefighters who were already battling the flames
Sunday 4 August – 4.00 pm: 10 to 15 hectares of vegetation have been destroyed by the fire, which is still raging; numerous reinforcements are on their way.
Sunday 4 August – 3.00 pm: Severe fire; 6 hectares of vegetation burnt
Sunday 4 August – 2.40 pm: The fire has flared up again; 1 hectare of vegetation has been burnt
Friday 2 August – 5.20 pm: 3 hectares of vegetation burnt
