Firefighters from the Nord SDIS were attacked on Saturday evening whilst responding to a domestic dispute in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer, near Dunkirk (Nord).
The incident took place shortly before 9 pm on Rue de la République, according to our colleagues at France 3 Regional.
A complaint is to be lodged
Emergency services dispatched from Fort-Mardyck were insulted by the 43-year-old’s partner, who threw objects at them. None of the seven firefighters involved were injured, but a complaint is to be lodged.
As for the two people, who sustained minor injuries, they were taken to "under police escort"at Dunkirk General Hospital.
