The incident took place this Saturday. Three firefighters from the SDIS in Yvelines were seriously injured by a woman they had come to help. The victim, who ultimately turned on them, insulted, threatened and spat at the first-aiders before striking them several times.
"Our three colleagues, showing great composure, finally managed to subdue her and take her into custody with the support of the National Gendarmerie. She was then taken to a local hospital" as evidenced by the SDIS 78 on his Facebook page.
He added, "The toll on the VSAV crew has been heavy. After a brief stay in hospital, two of them have been prescribed a period of total incapacity for work – ITT – lasting several days. The Yvelines Fire Brigade strongly condemns this unacceptable act and wishes them a speedy recovery.".
