Two firefighters who were called out during the night between Friday and Saturday to tackle a fire that broke out on the fifth floor of a block of flats in the heart of the Bellefontaine district of Toulouse sustained minor injuries, according to our colleagues at The Dispatch.
According to the same source, the fire broke out in a storeroom accessible from the passageway and was particularly intense by the time the emergency services arrived. "It was really hot", says a firefighter. Two firefighters from the Vion fire station, including one woman, suffered burns. The injuries have been described as "light" by the SDIS 31. An investigation has been launched.
