91 per cent of French people trust the fire service, making it the organisation they trust the most, according to a recent survey carried out by Louis Harris Interactive, for our colleagues at the "New Literary Magazine", RTL, LCI and The Pau Literary Festival.
After firefighters, it is nurses who enjoy the highest level of trust amongst the French public (88 per cent), followed by scientists (78 per cent). Overall, trust is placed in those who ensure our safety – the police and the armed forces – but also in teachers and farmers.
