According to our colleagues at The Central Republic, a vehicle belonging to the Loiret Fire Service’s Health and Medical Emergency Service (SSSM) ended up on its right side after being struck by another vehicle. The vehicle was on its way to the scene of an emergency. The incident took place on Sunday shortly before midday.
The accident occurred at low speed. The firefighter who was driving was taken to Orléans Regional Hospital. He is reported to have sustained minor injuries.
