🔥 A fire has been burning since late yesterday in the commune of Roquebillière, in the Alpes-Maritimes department; as of now, around 20 hectares have been burnt
An initial fire, which broke out on the ridges in an area inaccessible to fire engines, was tackled by firefighters on foot using shovels and pruning knives. Another fire, which is inaccessible, remains under observation.
No homes are at risk.
A reconnaissance team will visit the site this Monday to assess whether or not the latest outbreak has spread.
