A large number of firefighters have been deployed this Thursday afternoon to the hamlet of Ermensbach, near Rimbach-près-Masevaux, in the south of the Haut-Rhin department.

Three hectares of woodland have gone up in smoke, mainly fir trees. Forty firefighters are on the scene and are still battling the flames.
They are backed by a around twenty vehicles. At 5 pm, the fire had not yet been brought under control, but it had been contained, CODIS 68 stated.
The fire broke out shortly before 3 pm, near some houses. No one was injured.
