According to a report in the newspaper The Independent, no fewer than fifty firefighters from the Pyrénées-Orientales SDIS have been tackling a fire in some undergrowth in the commune of Rabouillet since Monday lunchtime.
The fire is spreading in an area that is difficult to access. At least three hectares have been destroyed. The cause of this relatively minor fire is unknown. According to the same source, fire-fighting operations are expected to last several hours.
