A fire has been burning since Saturday morning in the commune of Spéracèdes, in the Alpes-Maritimes department (06). More than 100 firefighters are currently on the scene.
According to initial reports from the fire service, at least 8 hectares of vegetation have been destroyed. Around 100 hectares are at risk.
The police, for their part, secured an area where tensions were rising, whilst several houses and a perfume factory were protected.
