A fire has been reported in the commune of Castellet in the Var department, not far from the Paul Ricard circuit.
3.22 pm : The fire has spread into the woodland, having consumed approximately 7,000 m². Reinforcements from the 13th and 83rd are on their way to the scene. Aerial support has been requested. Please avoid the area.
3.15 pm : The fire appears to be spreading through the mountain range, fuelled by a light southerly wind with gusts of 23 km/h.
3.00 pm : A fire has been reported in Le Castellet, along the D2 on the border between Bouches-du-Rhône and Var. Please avoid the area. Further fires have recently been reported in the Var department, notably in:
