A fire has been reported in the commune of Nizas in the Hérault department (34).
10.00 pm - The fire has been contained. Between 20 and 25 hectares have been destroyed, according to the SDIS 34 fire service (the exact area will be assessed tomorrow using a drone).
A goat farm with around 100 goats and a ranch housing horses have been preserved.
7.00 pm - The extent of the damage caused by the fire is not yet known.
6.30 pm - Photos of the incident provided by the SDIS 34 communications department.

4.51 pm - The fire is still burning and is threatening several hectares of vegetation.
