A major fire has been reported in the commune of Saint-André, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department.

0.30 am - The fire has been brought under control; it is estimated to have burned across around 10 hectares.
FRIDAY 4 AUGUST
11.30 pm - 10 hectares are reportedly on fire, and more than a hundred firefighters from SDIS 66 are at the scene.
10.40 pm - Several fire engines from the SDIS 66 fire service have been deployed. Homes are reportedly under threat.
