Fire extinguished in Neufchâtel-Hardelot (Pas-de-Calais). The fire burned 182 hectares before being extinguished, with aerial and ground resources mobilized, including 120 firefighters, 64 firefighting personnel, and 70 gendarmes.

This morning’s update for the town of Dannes:
The fire remains contained and under surveillance. Approximately 60 firefighters are still on site to monitor the area and respond in case the fire flares up again.
For lunch today, only baguettes are needed. Donations received have already made it possible to prepare sandwiches for the firefighters. The only thing missing today is fresh bread.
Baguettes can be dropped off now at the Jean Léger Hall. Anyone available to help prepare the sandwiches is also welcome.

Significant resources are still being deployed to fight the fire: 120 firefighters, reinforced by 64 firefighters from neighboring departments, as well as 70 gendarmes and several aerial assets.
Two water-bombing helicopters, dispatched from Normandy, are scheduled to continue their sorties on Thursday. A Dash aircraft is also expected to carry out drops of fire retardant.
