A fire has been burning since 11.00 am in the town of Argelès-sur-Mer, situated a few kilometres south of Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department (66).
According to our information, a large number of firefighters from the Pyrénées-Orientales SDIS are on the scene to prevent the fire from spreading. At 1.20 pm, the situation was under control.
